Utilisation
The ZOP gear pumps are used for delivery of oils and other non-solidifying viscous liquids such as greases, suds water, emulsions etc. in various industrial branches and some chemical plants. They are also used as pressure sources in hydraulic systems and especially in lubrication and cooling equipment of various machines and appliances.
Technical description
The ZOP gear pumps are horizontal with external gearing, i.e. the suction and delivery branches are in horizontal configuration on opposite sides of the pump. The branch sizes, ranging from 3 to 125 cm3 (revolution of rated flow, are provided with internal thread) and branches with sizes of 250 to 1000 cm3 (revolution are equipped with flanges).
Material
Body, covers, heating shield and heating plate are made of grey cast iron, gear wheels of high-grade carbon hardened steel, shafts are of high-grade carbon steel and bearing bushes of bronze or of antifriction alloy.
Stuffing box
The ZOP pumps are provided with soft cord sealing.
