Utilisation
The hand pressure tester, model RTZ-100, is designed for pressure space testing of machine equipment with specified testing pressure up to a maximum value of 10 MPa. For pressurisation it is necessary to use a clear non-aggressive liquid with max. temperature of 50°C and viscosity up to 50 mm2/s (water, mineral oils, petroleum, diesel oil) without mechanical additions and with pH value up to 5,8 at temperature of 20°C. The required water can be supplied directly through water mains.
Technical description
The hand pressure tester consists of following main parts: plunger pump with hand lever, suction and delivery ball valve, relief valve, pressure gauge, suction and delivery branch. The plunger is forced to move by a lever attached with a pin to side plates inducing the required pressure through its motion. The suction and delivery valves are in configuration above each other. The resulting pressure values are checked by means of a pressure gauge attached directly to the pump body. The required testing liquid is supplied under pressure from water mains or from a tank which has to be put higher than the pump inlet. The pump pressure is released into the testing part through the delivery valve and the delivery branch consisting of a pipe coupling to be welded to delivery piping.
Material
The pump body is made of rolled carbon steel with min. strength of 490 MPa. Plunger and valve balls are made of stainless steel, guide bushes and valve seats of non-ferrous metals, pins and other parts of carbon steel are galvanised. Packing rings and plunger collars of oil-proof material, plates under the pressure gauge of copper.
Technical parameters
Max. temperature of delivered liquid: 50°C
Theoretical flow in pump (at 48 double strokes): Q = 1,392 l/min
Max. operating pressure: 10 MPa
