Utilisation
The SVD self-priming rotary pumps are especially designed for pumping of light oils, juices in chemical and foodstuff industry and low-viscous liquids such as petrol, benzol, ether etc. Models with flooded suction seals are designed for pumping of volatile, crystal-lising or foamy liquids. These pumps are also used for delivery of water with pH value up to 5,8 without abrasive particles.
Technical description
Every operating stage consists of suction and delivery liners and the impeller is put between the liners. The pump shaft is bedded in ball bearings and sealed with soft sealing cord. The suction and delivery branches are situated so that the pump is flooded all the time. On models with flooded suction seals the suction seal space is completed with a flooded ring and connected with the delivery space through a connecting pipe.
Material
Suction and delivery bodies and liners, threaded flanges, bearing housing, stuffing box cover and flooded ring are made of cast iron, impeller of brass, shaft and connecting pipes of steel.
