S-LV

Utilisation

The S-LV pumps are especially used for pumping of clear liquids without any abrasive particles such as petrol, spirit and fuel oil with temperature up to 35°C and concentration of hydrogen ions up to pH 6 at 20°C. They are also used for delivery of clear service water e.g. fire pumps up to 80°C.

Technical description

The multistage centrifugal horizontal pumps are equipped with radial impellers and radial distributors. They are combined with a self-priming stage built before the suction body. This modification provides independent operation of both parts of the pump. These pumps are available in various models with some differences consisting in utilisation of cord or mechanical sealing on the shaft end, configuration of the suction and delivery branches and position of fixing footing.

Material

The main S-LV pumps parts are made of grey cast iron, self-priming wheel and special impeller of the first stage and casing are of bronze, sealing rings are of brass.

Stuffing box

The S-LV pumps are provided with cord or mechanical sealing on the shaft end.
