Utilisation

The multistage horizontal low-pressure CJT pumps are designed for delivery of clear hot water and condensates with operating temperature up to 130°C. The standard utilisation of these pumps is in compact sets of hot water systems and in thermal equipment for re-pumping of hot water, condensates and non-corrosive liquids especially with low inlet heights.

Technical description

The multistage horizontal CJT pumps are in configuration with lined-up impellers. The rotor is seated in antifriction bearings with permanent grease charge without any cooling. The axial force is captured by double-row antifriction bearing on the suction body side. The pumps, models 65 -100 CJT, are provided with the first suction impeller with a bigger size of the inlet part to reach better suction effects. On other models the first stage is designed as an impeller with two inlets, it means also two impellers lined up with suction sides to each other.

Material

The CJT pumps are usually available in LC modification, i.e. body, impeller, diffuser and sealing seats are made of grey cast iron. The first impeller is always made of stainless steel with higher resistance against erosion caused by cavitation. The shaft is made of machine steel and provided with protective cases of grey cast iron. The special LU modification means that all impellers are made of stainless steel and protective cases of the shaft are made of chrome alloy. Material of other parts corresponds with the LC modification.

Stuffing box

Both shaft seals are sealed with soft sealing cord. The seal on the suction side is permanently flooded with a liquid going from the delivery space to unload the seal to a pressure value of the suction part. Such hydraulic configuration of the suction seal protects against suction of ambient air.

Technical parameters

Max. temperature of delivered liquid: 130°C
