Utilisation

The feeding CHZ pumps are designed especially for feeding of steam boilers with treated feeding water in heating and power sources of lower capacity and local importance such as industrial plants, residential objects, medical centres etc. These pumps can be also used in water treatment, power engineering, boiler houses etc. for re-pumping of condensates, delivery of warm water or as pressure water sources for technologies in production process.

Technical description

The feeding multistage centrifugal horizontal CHZ pump is in configuration with compensation of axial forces, with slide bearings and soft seals. Its rotor is seated on both sides in slide bearings lubricated with oil and cooled water. The shaft seals are installed in separate boxes with intensive water cooling and equipped with soft cord rings.

Material

Main parts of the feeding pumps in standard modification are made of following materials:
- suction parts, multistage bodies, impellers, sealing rings and cases, spacers and bearing housing are made of grey cast iron
- delivery part is made of carbon steel
- shafts and jackets of stages are made of structural steel
- balance disk, bearing plate and throttle case are made of special steel alloys
