Utilisation

The single-stage centrifugal volute MONOBLOK pumps are especially designed for pumping of clear and mechanically light-polluted and chemically neutral liquids.

Technical description

The hydraulic part corresponds with the same sizes of the META pumps in LC modifications. The spacer coupled with the relevant volute builds a chamber space towards the pump cover for cooling or heating the pump and its sealing space. The compact impeller is easy fit directly on an extended shaft of the flanged motor. The own pump is attached to its front flange through the spacer and fixed also with foots of the volute casing on the cast-iron frame together with the motor, i.e. this configuration is without any bearing support and clutch which makes operation and maintenance easier and brings space saving. This fact can be appreciated by designers and users of smaller boiler houses and other objects where optimal space utilisation is required.

Material

These pumps are available in LC modification (i.e. made of grey cat iron).

Stuffing box

The stuffing box modification can be both with cord sealing (discharged, closed from delivery part, closed from external source, washed, rinsed) and single mechanical seal. All these seals are installed into the same sealing space and therefore they are replaceable.
