Utilisation
The CVAV pumps are designed for pumping of clear drinking water and chemically non-active service water or even slightly polluted water with content of soluble substances without any abrasive particles. Main utilisation of these pumps is especially in water works. In addition to that they can be used for additional purposes in various industrial and power plants for example for pumping of condensates, cooling water etc.
Technical description
The vertical CVAV pump consists of bearing suspension with driving unit, guide piping, hydraulic part and suction piping. The torque transmission from the electric motor to the pump is provided by means of flexible clutch and vertical shaft which is put in the axis of the guide line.
Material
In the standard LN version for normal utilisation, i.e. pumping of chemically non-active service water, the pump body, impellers and diffusers, bearing housing in the guide line and parts of the bearing suspension are made of cast iron. Sealing rings of impellers are made of bronze, shaft cases of stainless material, shaft of the set and shaft couplings of machine steel, guide and suction piping of steel seamless tube, supporting stand of bearing suspension is cast iron or exceptionally welded.
