Utilisation
The CJNV pumps are used especially for pumping of condensates from vacuum space of condensers on steam condensation turbosets into feeding tanks. They are also used for delivery of hot condensates from low-pressure and high-pressure heaters or other closed circuits.
Technical description
The hydraulic part consists of centrifugal multistage pump with radial impellers lined up in pressure stages. Number of stages depends on required specific energy. The impeller of the first stage is provided with bigger size of the inlet part to reach better suction effects. The shaft in the hydraulic part is seated in slide bearings put in suction and delivery covers. The bearings are lubricated with a pumped liquid. The riser connects the lower hydraulic part with the delivery body and the bearing suspension. The delivery body builds a compact unit with the branch pipe and the shaft seal.
Material
- parts of hydraulic body are made of manganese cast steel
- impellers, diffuser and protective cases of stainless chrome steel
- bearing of suction and delivery covers are equipped with lining of tin-base babbitt
- spacing cases of impellers of chrome alloy
- shaft and connecting bolts of high-grade structural steel, rank 12 and 13
Technical parameters
Max. temperature of delivered liquid: 180°C
