Utilisation

The CJAV pumps without any collecting tank are designed for pumping of collected and circulation condensate from usually opened tanks under atmospheric pressure.
The CJAV pumps with a collecting tank are used for pumping and delivery of condensates (min. pH of 6,5) from vacuum space of condensers on steam condensation turbo-sets into feeding tanks.

Technical description

The rotor consists of shaft with radial lined impellers sealed with replaceable sealing rings in the stages bodies. The impeller of the first stage is provided with bigger size of the inlet part to reach better suction effects. Except the last one, all other impellers are hydraulically lightened to compensate the axial forces of the rotor. The shaft in the hydraulic part is seated in the slide bearings put in suction and delivery covers and cases of individual stages bodies. The bearings are lubricated with own pumped liquid.

Material

In the standard LU version the own pump body, diffusers, sealing rings of impellers and parts of the bearing suspension are made of cast iron, impellers of stainless chrome steel, shaft cases of steel, pump bearings and guide shaft bearing of bronze, shaft of the set and shaft couplings of machine steel.
