Utilisation

The single-stage centrifugal horizontal NHR-HC pumps are especially designed for pumping of lye solutions, acids and other chemically aggressive liquids with mechanical particles up to 2% volume of pumped liquid with grain size up to 0,25 mm.

Technical description

The hydraulic part of the pump consists of open impeller, suction cover, volute and pump cover which are pressed of daplen and attached to a cast iron bracket. This bracket is provided with foots for attachment to the basement plate and a lantern for fixing of the mechanical part consisting of bearing housing and shaft.

Material

Parts in contact with a pumped liquid are made of semi-propylene. The stuffing box material is chosen according to a kind of pumped liquids - usually made of carbon steel, stainless steel or titanium. The pump shaft is made of chrome-nickel-molybdenum steel, covers and bearing housing of grey cast iron.

Stuffing box

The own seal is always according to a kind of pumped liquids, i.e. both cord sealing in most modifications and mechanical ceramic seal.
