K-BS

Utilisation

The hand pumping set, model K-BS, is especially used for pumping of petrol, benzol, spirit, mixtures of petrol and spirit, fuel oil, thin oil etc. from barrels. They are also used as evacuation pumps for centrifugal sets and their suction piping. As the operating surfaces of the sliding-vane pumps are metallic the pumps can be used also for delivery of clear liquids without any abrasive and solid particles (sand etc.).

Technical description

The K-BS pumping sets consist of double-acting hand sliding-vane pump in K design, flap valves, suction branch with conical fitting and delivery part or delivery elbow. In comparison with the sliding-vane pump the K one is not provided with fixing plates and threaded flange. In the suction part there is a steel galvanised suction pipe with sliding plug for fixing on the barrel so that the pipe can be set to any submersion in a barrel.

Material

The body is made of grey cast iron, shaft of steel, vane, bridge and flap valves of brass.
