Utilisation

The single-stage centrifugal horizontal NCU pumps are especially designed for pumping of acids and other chemically aggressive and corrosive liquids.

Technical description

The hydraulic part of the pump consists of stator and rotor. The own stator consists of suction cover with discharge hole and volute casing with delivery branch. The rotor is a shaft with an open impeller easy fit on a threaded pin sealed with a sealing ring on the seal side. The mechanical part consists of a support with the shaft seated in oiled antifriction bearings.

Material

Volute body, suction cover and impeller liner are made of grey cast iron. Parts in contact with a pumped liquid are provided with a rubber layer of 5 mm (GC models) or made of semi-propylene (HC models).

Stuffing box

The stuffing box material is chosen according to a kind of pumped liquids, i.e. both soft cord sealing in most modifications and mechanical ceramic seal. Both seals are easy interchangeable.
