Utilisation
The pumps in material modifications LC and TJ are designed for pumping of thick slurries and sludge in municipal and industrial sewerage systems and water treatment plants and also for pumping of foods, such as potatoes, leaf vegetables, legumes etc. The pumps in material modification ZC are intended for utilisation in chemical and paper industry for pumping of pulps, water stocks and artificial silk.
Technical description
This NFT pump is characterised by high flow rates of delivered mediums. Its design arrangement enables easy and fast disassembly and reassembly of hydraulic and mechanical parts without disconnection of the suction and delivery line.
Its hydraulic part consists of circular casing, impeller, back plate and stuffing box through which this part is connected with the mechanical part.
The mechanical part, i.e. a bearing console, consists of a bearing body and a pump shaft bedded in greased roller bearings (except for pump sizes 80-NFT-400, 100-NFT-400 and 150-NFT-400 that are oiled).
Material
Material modifications of this pump should be chosen according to the fluid to be pumped.
LC - pump casing, impeller, back plate and mechanical parts are made of grey cast iron, impeller hub bushing of cast iron (422 709) and shaft of structural steel
TJ - pump casing, impeller, back plate and mechanical parts are made of cast steel, impeller hub bushing of cast iron (422 709) and shaft of structural steel
ZC - pump casing, impeller, back plate, impeller hub bushing and stuffing box are made of stainless steel, shaft of structural steel and mechanical parts of grey cast iron
Stuffing box
Both stuffing boxes in the pump hydraulic part are packed with soft packing cords or they can be sealed mechanically.
