Utilisation

These rotary pumps are designed for pumping of viscous liquids, such as petroleum, oils, tar, enamels, fats, soaps, sizing agents, water glass, asphalt and in food industry also for pumping of syrups, fruit juices, molasses, fats, wort etc.

Technical description

This RPT pump is designed particularly for heavy-duty operating conditions in industry. It consists of a mechanical and a hydraulic part. Its rotors roll on each other and press out the pumped fluid evenly on the casing periphery. Clearances between rotors, periphery and pump casing cover are minimal. One rotor has three identical radius peaks.

Material

Hydraulic and mechanical parts, casing covers and rotors are made of grey cast iron, shafts of structural steels, geared wheels of high-grade steels. For food industry or for delivery of active fluids we are ready to supply hydraulic parts made of chromium-nickel steel.

Stuffing box

Pump shafts in hydraulic bodies are packed with packing cords.
