Utilisation

The single-stage centrifugal horizontal volute NBA pumps are especially designed for pumping of water containing abrasive substances (coal, clinker, soil, sand etc.) with grain size up to 50 mm.

Technical description

The NBA pumps are designed for operation under heavy working conditions. In the steel pump case there are own working parts coming in contact with a pumped liquid (volute with plate, suction liner, impeller and sealing rings). The three-vane compact impeller is easy fit on the conical shaft end which is extended with a hub adapter being hot pressed in the impeller. In the point of contact with its seal the impeller hub is protected with a removable case. The pump shaft is seated in antifriction bearings of the bearing housing with cold oil charge. The remaining axial force is captured by an axial spherical-roller bearing.

Material

These pumps are made of stainless chrome-nickel steel.

Stuffing box

The NBA pumps in all modifications are provided with soft cord sealing.
